Life's unexpected challenges can often leave us feeling lost and uncertain. Perhaps you're navigating a difficult situation or grappling with unexpected emotions. The thought of seeking therapy might feel daunting, especially if you're unsure of what to expect.

Imagine a safe space where you're truly heard and understood, where your experiences are validated without judgment. As a therapist, I approach my practice through a feminist, anti-oppressive lens, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and respected. Together, we'll explore how your mind and body are reacting to life's challenges, and we'll develop personalized strategies to help you regain a sense of control and well-being. My approach is integrative and person-centered, meaning that our sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals.

In our work together, collaboration, trust, and safety are paramount. My aim is not just to help you heal, but to empower you to thrive. Together, we'll find a sense of balance, achieve your goals, and uncover the tools you need to navigate life's ups and downs with confidence.

Nina has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Trent University, and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Prior to working for Centre Wellness, Nina worked in the federal correctional system for seven years, supporting offenders with varying levels of mental health needs and life experiences. During this time, she also volunteered for the Critical Incident Stress Management team, where she supported staff members in coping with their exposure to traumatic events in the workplace. As an RP Qualifying, Nina has worked with a variety of clients with intersecting identities, including survivors of sexual violence, first responders, and newcomers to Canada.
