About Rhianna

Rhianna is a student therapist at Centre Wellness who brings a warm, grounded, and collaborative presence to her work. With a background in behavioural therapy, she has experience supporting clients with emotional and behavioural challenges. Through this work, she has developed a strong foundation in building rapport, understanding behaviour patterns, and supporting emotional regulation.

Rhianna is deeply aligned with person-centred and humanistic approaches, believing that each client’s experience is unique and deserving of individualized care. She shares,

She is passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and move toward a version of wellness that feels meaningful to them.

Therapeutic Style

Rhianna’s therapeutic style is accepting and collaborative. She prioritizes creating a non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves. Clients can expect her to listen closely, validate their experiences, and move at a pace that feels right for them. She explains,

She is highly attuned to client comfort and encourages feedback throughout the process to ensure therapy feels helpful and aligned. As a student therapist she highlights,

Rhianna is drawn to approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), third-wave CBT, and somatic techniques, while remaining flexible and responsive to each client’s needs. Her work is grounded in curiosity, openness, and a strong belief in each client’s capacity for growth.

What to Expect

Over time, clients may begin to notice shifts such as increased emotional awareness, greater confidence, and the ability to identify and express their feelings more clearly.

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive space where they are invited to share their story at their own pace. Rhianna focuses on building a sense of safety and trust, while gently exploring what has brought the client to therapy and what they may be hoping for, even if those goals are not yet fully clear.

Progress may look like small but meaningful changes like trying a new coping strategy, seeing situations from a different perspective, or taking steps toward personal goals. Rhianna emphasizes that growth is not linear and encourages patience and self-compassion throughout the process.
