Life is difficult and seeking help can be a challenging endeavor. Even the prospect of change alone can be scary and intimidating.

As a therapist, I am passionate about meeting clients where they are at. I work hard to ensure people feel comfortable voicing their opinions and sharing their personal experiences in session. Indeed, I am committed to creating a therapeutic environment where people feel safe, respected, and heard.

I value clients as individuals and strive to understand their unique lived experiences, worldviews, and beliefs. Using this knowledge, I am better able to assist clients in reaching their goals and improving their quality of life. I emphasize the collaborative nature of therapy and the importance of co-creating the necessary space for positive growth and healing.

Linay is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), who obtained her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She adopts a holistic and integrative approach to therapy, meaning she tailors treatment as required to best fit her clients’ needs, preferences, and personal goals. She is a skilled and experienced clinician who worked in forensic mental health for approximately four years before pursuing community-based services. Linay has a keen interest and extensive training in the treatment of trauma. However, she also has experience working with a variety of other mental health issues, including those relating to mood, anxiety, interpersonal/family conflict, occupational stress and workplace injury, as well as anger management and emotion regulation difficulties.
